What To Expect

What To Expect

We keep things really simple but highly meaningful.

We are so glad you're here. Checking out a church is an important step. We want it to be welcoming, informative, and life-giving for you. Take your time to see what we are about, plan a visit, and get connected. And be sure to send us any questions along the way!

About Us

We are a Christian church in Silver Spring and we are all about Jesus. Our mission is to follow Jesus together for the good of the world. The fact that we keep Jesus central completely shapes what we believe and how we live. So as you get to know us better, you'll start hearing and seeing how Jesus' life, death, and resurrection impacts every area of life, for our joy and God's glory.

Here are some descriptors that you might want to know about us:

  • Evangelical
  • Christ-centered/Gospel-centered
  • Missional
  • Non-denominational

What To Expect on Sunday Gatherings

Every Sunday morning, the entire church family gathers at 9:30am or 11:15am in order to:

  • sing praises aloud to our God,
  • hear and share stories of God's movement,
  • to sit under live gospel-centered preaching, and
  • to take holy communion together.

We have a fun and safe program for kids as well (from nursery to high school). Click Here for complete info about our Kids program, which we call Family Ministry.

Anyone and everyone are welcome. Click Here for complete info about Sundays.

Every Sunday at 9:30 am and 11:15 am, The Well gathers in the Silver Spring Seventh Day Adventist Church Building in Downtown Silver Spring (note: we are not SDA, we just lease the building).

Sunday Gathering Location
8900 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910

How To Dress

We have no dress code! Please come as you are and wear what you normally like to wear. If you enjoy jeans and a tee, go for it. If you prefer your Sunday best, go for it. The majority of our church family dresses casual but we definitely got people all along the dress code spectrum. Just make sure you wear something. :)
