The Intentional Father Thrive - (April 27 & May 4). Let’s learn together how to raise sons of consequence—young men who know what they believe, know who they are, and will stand up for what is true. Using Jon Tyson’s book, The Intentional Father, we’ll lay out a clear path for fathers and sons that includes specific activities, rites of passage, and significant “marking moments” that can be adapted to fit any family. It’s not enough to hope our sons will become good men. We need them to be good at being men. This book shows how fathers, grandfathers, and other male mentors can lead the way. Sign up here.
Men's Breakfast - April 12th, 7am at the church. Join us for a great breakfast, a time to hang with other men, and for a short talk from our own Ron Koehler followed by a discussion. It should be a fun and encouraging time. Sign up here to help give us a sense of how much food to provide.
Membership Class - Our next Membership Class is Sunday, April 27th after service. If you are ready to take the next steps towards church membership, want to get a better sense of the history of the church and our theological stances, or want to know why church membership is important, this is the best place to do that. Lay Counseling Ministry at The Well - The Lay Counseling Ministry exists to support the spiritual growth and well-being of our church members and the community, with the ultimate goal of helping them become more conformed to the image of Christ. If you would like to join in the ministry in any capacity, including going through the lay counseling training course, administrative support, or other means, OR you would like support from the Lay Counseling minstry, email the team at laycounseling@thewellsilverspring.org.
