The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly 2022
The OT is full of good, bad, and ugly folks. Some show us sins to repent of while others exemplify lifestyles to emulate. Normally, each is a bit of both. In their sin and shortcoming, these men and women point us to a Savior who forgives us of our mess. In their awesomeness and faith, these women and men point us to a Savior who is even greater than they are. The good, the bad, and the ugly all shine a brilliant spotlight on our Savior to come.
This summer series will highlight Old Testament heroes and zeros, telling their stories, in order to both familiarize us with the whole redemptive story of the bible, and to teach us how to read the OT with an eye for Christ. We each have sin to turn from (we will see it in these folks) and a mighty Savior who transforms us by grace (we will see Him through these folks). This summer, the good, the bad, and the ugly will bring us closer to Christ.
